Getting the hang of it?

September 3, 2009

It’s day two and I am still not quite sure about this blogging experiment. Since I know that there are only about three people who know about this blog, it doesn’t quite seem worth it to post something. Nevertheless, I should probably do it just to get myself in the habit of posting regularly. So, for the three of you who have visited my nascent blog, thanks. Enjoy these first few, completely vacuous posts.

The blog looks good. Start posting regularly and then also comment on others blogs which in turn will have people checking out this blog.

Hi Chris. I guess I’m one of the three, so I thought I’d leave something here to let you know that someone’s already reading your blog. I see that you’ve used Thomas saying 80 for your Coptic image. “Whoever knows the world has found the body, and whoever finds the body, the world isn’t worthy of him.” Not sure why it says “the body” rather than, say, “a corpse” (which is what folks take it to mean), but in any case, best of luck with your blog. – Mike G.

    Hi Chris,
I’m in the same boat as you as I’m new to blogging (at least in a biblioblog). I often wonder if anyone will read my blog or care, but i enjoy writing (and discussing) one of my favorite topics (nt studies, especially Greek and Mark). Also I agree with Mike’s comment-keep blogging and commenting on other blogs. Eric.
